The My Cloud EX2 Ultra is equipped with a fast 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, for lightning fast file transfer and high-quality performance. Thanks to the built-in 1GB DDR3 memory, multitasking is no problem for this NAS.
Sharing or synchronising, it is all possible with the Western Digital My Cloud EX2 Ultra. Using WD Sync app, you can decide what you want to sync and then the app ensures that the content of the files is always up to date in both places. Through MyCloud.com or via the My Cloud App, you will then have access to your photos, videos, music or documents from anywhere. If you want to give others access to your files, you can create a private link to your shared folder for them.
Secure data storage
The Western Digital My Cloud EX2 Ultra can handle multiple RAID levels. You can choose RAID0 for better performance but less security, but you can also choose RAID 1, which makes a permanent copy of all data. For added security, you can choose 256-bit AES volume encryption. The entire disk is then encrypted, making it inaccessible without the correct key.
