The Canon EOS R3 ushers in a new era for professional photographers and filmmakers. The camera has been specially designed to capture the fastest-moving action in ways never seen before. With ultra-responsiveness, high sensitivity, reliability, and durability, it meets the demands of professional users.

The R3 is the first EOS camera to feature a stacked full-frame BSI CMOS sensor with back-side illumination, designed and manufactured by Canon. With 24.1 MP (effective), you get a perfect balance between resolution, speed, and dynamic range. Combined with a powerful DIGIC X image processor, this creates a new dimension in high-speed photography and videography — think 30 fps with full AF/AE tracking and minimal image distortion when using the electronic shutter.

Focusing has been taken to the next level with the new generation Dual Pixel CMOS AF II. Thanks to intelligent AF tracking, you can keep people, animals (dogs, cats, and birds), and motorsport (racing cars and motorbikes) in sharp focus at all times, even at 30 fps. Even at light levels of -7EV or lower, focusing is no problem. The groundbreaking Eye Control AF system allows you to select and move the focus point using your eyes, giving you unprecedented control over AF.

Video recording is possible in a range of resolutions: 6K DCI, 4K DCI and UHD, and Full HD. The EOS R3 offers the ability to store internally oversampled 4K or RAW recordings. With two card slots for SD and CFexpress memory cards, you have not only plenty of storage space but also the speed to match your media.

The body is constructed from magnesium alloy and glass-fibre reinforced polycarbonate. It is based on the EOS 1D series, but more compact and significantly lighter. Operation is highly intuitive even in the most demanding professional situations. The camera also sits comfortably in the hand thanks to the integrated grip. Just like its larger DSLR sibling, the body is dust- and weather-resistant, offering high-quality protection in harsh conditions. The instinctive controls will feel familiar to EOS 1-series users, featuring both a multi-controller and smart controller, along with three customisable rings. A 3.2" vari-angle (tiltable) screen lets you capture images from any creative angle. The electronic viewfinder (0.5") delivers a smooth, true-to-life display at 5.76 million dots and 119.98 fps. The hot shoe enables data communication and power delivery for accessories.

Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8L IS USM

The Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8L IS USM is a professional zoom lens. It offers exceptional sharpness and speed across a wide zoom range. The zoom range can be extended to 200-600mm f/5.6 with the RF 2x extender, or adjusted to 140-420mm f/4 with the RF 1.4x extender.

The Optical Image Stabiliser compensates by up to 5.5 stops, making handheld shooting effortlessly achievable. When paired with Canon R-series cameras, this increases to 6 stops of compensation. With an aperture comprising 9 blades and a maximum aperture of f/2.8, you have plenty of creative possibilities at your disposal for stunning shots even in low light. Dual Nano USM motors ensure fast and near-silent autofocus for both stills and video.

The RF 100-300mm offers intuitive operation and focusing thanks to the Focus Preset button on the rear of the lens. This allows you to pre-focus on a specific point, save it, and recall it instantly at a later stage. Four L-Fn buttons on the front of the lens can be programmed for a wide variety of lens and camera functions.

The optical design of the lens — featuring fluorite elements, ultra-low dispersion glass, and an aspherical element — delivers optimal clarity and sharpness without distortion. Canon's Super Spectra Coating (SSC) is also present to minimise image shadows and flare.

This lens performs reliably even in extreme weather conditions. Dust and moisture are kept at bay thanks to the weather-resistant sealing. The front element features a fluorine coating that prevents water, oil, and other residues from adhering to the lens. The RF 100-300mm features a rotating tripod mount, allowing you to switch quickly and easily between portrait and landscape orientation.
