This Tamron lens hood is designed for the Tamron 24-70 G2 lens. It helps you reduce lens flare and protect your lens from bumps and scratches. A lens hood blocks annoying incident light. The lens hood can be used as a spare or to replace your old lens hood.

The Tamron SP 24-70mm F2.8 Di VC USD G2 Lens Hood is specially developed for the Tamron SP 24-70mm F2.8 Di VC USD G2 lens. A lens hood prevents lens flare due to incident light from the sun or another light source. The shape of this lens hood ensures that obliquely incident light is effectively kept out of the image. Another advantage of a lens hood is that it protects the front element of the lens from damage.
