Once mounted, the lens hood effectively blocks backlight, side light, and overhead light, resulting in sharper images with fewer reflections. The lightweight aluminium alloy construction and snug fit offer durable protection without compromising the camera's classic aesthetic. For added convenience, it remains fully compatible with the original lens cap.

The lens hood is CNC-machined to prevent vignetting and features a matt black interior that absorbs light to reduce internal reflections. The included adapter ring adds extra versatility by enabling the attachment of standard 49 mm filters.
