Sigma 40mm F/1.4 DG HSM ART Canon EF

The Sigma 40mm F/1.4 DG HSM Art for Canon EF is a high-quality prime lens from the Sigma Art series. Designed to the strict standards of a cine lens, it delivers superior optical performance in any situation. This fast lens has a maximum aperture of F/1.4, so you can achieve selective focus effects and blurred backgrounds. Thanks to its nine rounded aperture blades, the lens creates a beautiful Bokeh effect. The optical design contains a series of low dispersion and aspherical elements, which help improve sharpness and clarity by controlling both spherical and chromatic aberrations. A Super Multi-Layer Coating is also included, which helps minimise flare and ghosting for more contrast and colour accuracy when shooting in strong light. Thanks to the Hyper Sonic Motor, this lens offers very fast and quiet Autofocus. The lens also has a dust- and splash-proof construction, which makes it suitable for use in all conditions. The optical performance of the Sigma 40mm F/1.4 means you can use this lens with Full frame cameras with very high resolutions.
