The SIGMA 300-600mm f/4 DG OS Sports Sony E-mount delivers the optical performance of a 600mm f/4 with the flexibility to zoom between 300mm and 600mm. Thanks to the advanced internal zoom mechanism, working with this lens is a balanced and user-friendly experience.

The high-response linear actuator (HLA) ensures lightning-fast and precise autofocus, even when tracking fast-moving subjects. The built-in optical image stabilisation with OS2 algorithm offers up to 5.5 stops of compensation, which is crucial when shooting handheld at long focal lengths. Two OS modes provide additional stability, including a dedicated panning mode. This stabilises images regardless of camera orientation, allowing moving subjects to be captured with precision.

This lens features an advanced optical construction with 28 elements in 21 groups, including 6 FLD and 1 SLD glass elements. This ensures minimal chromatic aberration and maximum sharpness across the entire zoom range. The Nano Porous Coating and water- and oil-repellent coating on the front lens reduce reflections and protect against dust and moisture.

The lens barrel is constructed from a durable magnesium alloy and finished with thermal insulation paint, making it ideal for use in extreme weather conditions. The internal zoom mechanism keeps the centre of gravity stable, providing better balance during gimbal and handheld shooting. The lens is also dust- and splash-resistant and features a drop-in filter holder for 40.5mm filters.

For professionals, the SIGMA 300-600mm f/4 DG OS Sports Sony E-mount offers a number of additional features. The lens includes a function ring with various assignable modes, such as Focus Preset and Power Focus Mode, ideal for video shooting. The tripod mount with smooth rotation and click stops every 90° is compatible with Arca-Swiss clamps and easy to swap out. The lens also supports Sigma's teleconverters for focal lengths up to 1200mm.
