The PolarPro Center Split Filter – 77mm is a split-field filter that keeps the centre of the image sharp while details above and below blur and glow. The filter is made of PolarPro Cinema Series optical glass with a scratch- and reflection-resistant coating and multi-layer coatings for colour neutrality.

PolarPro Center Split Filter – 77mm

With the PolarPro Center Split Filter – 77mm you keep the centre of your image sharp, while details at the top and bottom of the frame blur and glow. This optical split-field effect is created by the construction of the filter itself and cannot be authentically reproduced in editing software.

The filter has a fixed optical construction, in which the visibility of the effect varies by focal length: at 35mm a larger part of your image falls within the diffusing zone, giving you a stronger split effect; at 85mm a smaller part of your image is affected, giving you a more subtle result. The filter rotates, so you can adjust the orientation of the effect to suit your composition.

You use a filter made of PolarPro Cinema Series optical glass with a scratch- and reflection-resistant coating and low dispersion. Multi-layer coatings reduce glare and preserve colour neutrality. The housing is a CNC-machined aluminium frame with a matte black anodised finish and standard screw-thread mounting.

This is a specialised filter for creative shots and is not intended for everyday use.
