Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ1000
The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ1000 is a bridge-style point-and-shoot camera with a large 20.1MP 1" High Sensitivity MOS sensor. It records high-resolution 4K QFHD video and can shoot at up to 50fps. The sensor offers remarkable sensitivity and an expandable ISO of 25600 with a high signal-to-noise ratio, for cleaner image quality with less noise. Designed for effective hybrid photo and video performance, the 4K output can be used to capture 8MP in-camera stills from video files, which simplifies multimedia output.
Complementing the imaging performance is a far-reaching 16x Leica DC Vario-Elmarit zoom lens, which offers a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 25-400mm. This lens covers both wide-angle and telephoto shooting. The f/2.8-4 lens is built with aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements to deliver sharp, clear image quality with minimal chromatic aberration and distortion. HYBRID O.I.S. image stabilisation offers extra benefits when shooting in difficult lighting conditions by minimising the appearance of camera shake across five different axes. The lens also uses a linear AF motor, supported by LUMIX Depth From Defocus technology, to deliver fast focusing across the entire zoom range.
The bridge-style design of this camera features an electronic viewfinder and an LCD screen for better viewing in a wide range of shooting situations. The 0.39" 2359k-dot OLED Live View Finder offers 100% frame coverage with a 35mm-equivalent magnification of 0.7x, while the 3" 921k-dot LCD monitor has a tilting design that makes high and low angles easier to shoot. The camera also has built-in WiFi connectivity for direct image transfer to paired smartphones and tablets, as well as remote control and monitoring options.
