The Olympus UFL-3 is a highly compact, high-performance underwater flash gun. Waterproof to a water pressure equivalent to a depth of 75 m with a guide number of GN22 and a charging time of approximately 2 seconds.

With the compact, lightweight Olympus UFL-3 Underwater Flash, you bring the world beneath the sea to life. The flash is designed for Olympus camera bodies equipped with fiber optic cable ports and has a depth rating of 75 meters. When used above water at full power, its guide number is 22 m at ISO 100, and it offers a wide angle of coverage that matches that of a 24mm lens (35mm format). The flash helps restore the color accuracy and vibrancy of your underwater photos and has a color temperature of 5400K. Choose from DDL, slave and manual modes.

The UFL-3 comes with a diffuser to soften the light for less backscatter, glare and harsh shadows. The flash can be connected to a compatible underwater housing via the optional PTCB-E02 fiber optic cable. The flash is fitted with a YS mounting bolt for attachment to an optional lighting arm. The UFL-3 is powered by 4 AA alkaline, NiMH, lithium or oxy-nickel hydroxide (Oxyride) batteries, which are sold separately.
