Nikon D500 body
The Nikon D500 is the flagship model in Nikon's DX-format DSLR range. This camera stands out for its robust build, its imaging capabilities and a more compact, slimmer shape than the other FX cameras. The D500 is equipped with a 20.9 Megapixel CMOS sensor and an EXPEED 5 image Processor. The camera appeals to both photographers and videographers with its fast continuous shooting speed of 10fps and UHD 4K video recording capabilities. The sensor and the Processor work together to deliver an ISO sensitivity of up to 51,200, expandable to ISO 1,640,000 for working in low-light conditions. The D500 is also known for its extensive Multi-CAM 20K 153-point AF system, with 99 cross-type points for fast performance and accurate subject tracking.
Besides its imaging capabilities, this advanced digital DSLR camera also offers impressive handling with a 3.2 inch, 2.36m-dot tilting LCD touchscreen. This lets you work easily from high or low angles. An updated version of SnapBridge provides a WiFi connection with NFC. Bluetooth Low Energy technology lets you pair mobile devices so you can share your images wirelessly. On top of these handy features, the D500 is built from a durable magnesium alloy that is both dust- and weather-resistant, so you can work in demanding conditions.
