Nikon Coolpix P1000
The Nikon Coolpix P1000 reaches unprecedented heights in the compact camera category. It is a compact camera with a massive 125x optical zoom, so you never have to miss a subject. Craters on the moon, wildlife or aircraft: with the P1000 you capture it all razor sharp. Together with the highly light-sensitive 16-megapixel image sensor, it takes little effort to capture the most impressive photos and videos.
The Coolpix P1000 is unique in its kind with its 125x optical zoom, resulting in a zoom range of 24-3000mm. But that's not all, because the 250x Dynamic Fine Zoom extends the range digitally to 6000mm. This pushes the limits considerably and lets you photograph distant subjects with ease and great sharpness.
The versatile P1000 is equipped with a bright f/2.8-8 Nikkor lens, which makes shooting in low light a piece of cake. All your shots are beautifully exposed thanks to Nikon's superior lens technology, and blurry photos are a thing of the past thanks to Nikon's powerful 5-stop image stabilisation. Dual-detect optical vibration reduction counteracts camera shake and lets you enjoy a steady viewfinder image.
The tilting 3.2" display with 921,000 pixels gives you perfect control over your shots. The most creative angles and positions are no problem for you, because you always keep a clear overview of the Coolpix images. The Ultra HD electronic viewfinder has no fewer than 2,360,000 dots, so your shots are always displayed accurately.
The P1000 offers RAW support, so you can capture, export and edit images of the highest quality. For video too, this compact camera meets all your needs, with support for detailed 4K UHD recording. This makes the camera perfectly suited to capturing spectacular scenes in nature.
With the Nikon Coolpix P1000 you can easily share all your photos and videos via the SnapBridge app. Download the app, turn on Bluetooth and all your photos appear on your smartphone in no time. GPS data is also added automatically to your shots. As the icing on the cake, the app has a built-in zoom function and shutter release, so you can control the P1000 remotely.
