The APO Televid 82 offers excellent image quality of rich nature, from sunrise to sunset. Leica's spotting scope features water-repellent lens coating which makes the Televid 82 more usable in humid or wet conditions. The Televid 82 comes with an extendable lens hood as standard. The body features a rubber protective coating around the magnasium housing.

In addition, the 25-50x eyepiece offers a larger field of view than many comparable eyepieces.
