The Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 28-70mm f/2.8 ASPH is a compact, lightweight zoom lens from wide-angle to short telephoto. This zoom lens combines Leica's optical precision with ease of use for everyday professional work. This makes it perfect for landscapes, travel reportage, portraits and video productions.

Thanks to the constant aperture of f/2.8 across the entire zoom range, this lens offers excellent control over depth of field and consistent performance. Ideal for creative compositions with bokeh or in low-light situations.

The optical design contains 16 elements in 12 groups, including several double-aspherical elements. These ensure the high image quality and accuracy. Thanks to the advanced coatings on the lens elements, you enjoy optimal colour reproduction and contrast. This improves light transmission and effectively reduces reflections.

A precise, quiet autofocus motor focuses lightning fast. This makes the lens suitable not only for photography, but also for videography.
