The Insta360 X5 is packed with innovations. The action cam features new Flat and I-Log colour profiles, and offers improved audio quality thanks to a new windscreen and even smarter noise-reduction algorithms. The X5 has built-in 6-axis image stabilisation and handy features such as invisible selfie stick removal and automatic licence plate blurring. Lens protectors (not included) are now detected automatically, and your files are 20% smaller so you can record for even longer. Battery life has been significantly improved with a 2,400 mAh battery, allowing up to 185 minutes of recording (5.7K Endurance Mode). And if the battery does run low, PD fast charging gets it back to 80% in just 20 minutes. Taking the X5 into the water? The action cam offers improved waterproofing to 15 metres without a housing, and with the new X5 dive housing (not included) you can go down to 50 metres.
On top of all this, the X5 has been made considerably more durable. The camera is fitted with reinforced gorilla glass lenses that you can replace yourself — saving you money in the long run.
