Hoya HDX Antistatic CIR-PL – 52mm

With the Hoya HDX Antistatic Protector of 52 mm you give the front element of your lens permanent protection against scratches, dust, moisture and fingerprints. The clear filter has a light transmission of 99.6%, so it leaves your image quality and colours unaffected. You keep the filter on your lens continuously, so your lens is always protected.

The filter has a 20-layer multicoating on both sides. The anti-reflective coating reduces reflections, flare and ghosting for clear, sharp images. The water- and oil-repellent, stain-resistant coating repels water, fingerprints and grease, so you clean the filter easily. New is the antistatic coating: the filter does not generate static electricity, so dust clings to the glass less quickly and you have to clean it less often.

The Protector is made of chemically strengthened optical glass with a thickness of 2 millimetres, polished on both sides. Thanks to the strengthening process, the glass is more resistant to impact and breakage. You screw the aluminium filter ring onto the 52 mm thread of your lens.
