The DJI Matrice 350 RTK Gimbal Dampers ensure the data quality of your mission by physically isolating the payload from the airframe. This damping element absorbs motor vibrations, which is essential for stabilising heavy payloads such as the H30T, L2, or P1. Worn rubbers directly result in blurred images and measurement errors, making the condition of these dampers a key factor for successful inspections.

Features of the DJI Matrice 350 RTK Gimbal Dampers

  • Filters micro-vibrations caused by motor rotation, crucial for stable imagery when using high zoom factors (such as the H30T’s 34x optical zoom)
  • Made from a specialised rubber composite that maintains its elasticity across a wide temperature range (-20°C to 50°C), unlike generic rubbers that harden in cold conditions
  • Acts as the first line of defence to absorb physical shocks during hard landings, preventing transfer to the delicate gimbal mechanism
  • The condition of these dampers is a critical inspection point; cracks or drying are immediate signals for replacement to prevent data loss
