Canon MP-E 65mm F/2.8 Super Macro

The Canon MP-E 65mm is the first macro lens designed for a magnification higher than 1x without extra accessories. With this lens you can magnify subjects up to five times. The minimum focusing distance is 24cm, which makes this lens extremely well suited to photographing small subjects. The unique design of this lens uses a floating element system to maintain quality throughout the entire focus range. One ultra-low dispersion element helps control colour fringing and chromatic aberrations for high clarity and colour accuracy. The 65mm F/2.8 is focused manually and features a removable rotating tripod mount, for improved stability when working on a tripod. The optical formula and the UD glass elements suppress chromatic aberrations that become visible at high magnification. For flash photography, the MT-24ex or MR-14ex can be connected to the lens.
