Canon EOS 1DX Mark III Body
The Canon EOS 1DX Mark III is a DSLR camera designed for speed, sensitivity, and precision. This powerful professional camera delivers outstanding performance when photographing sporting events, wildlife, and other dynamic subjects. This flagship EOS system is defined by its refined processing capabilities and exceptional speed for both photo and video applications. With a newly designed 20.1MP full-frame CMOS sensor and updated DIGIC X image processor, this camera can achieve burst shooting speeds of up to 16 fps with the optical viewfinder. In LiveView mode, this even reaches 20 fps! To top it all off, this camera offers a buffer of 1,000 images when shooting in RAW + JPEG. Missing the shot is virtually impossible!
Complementing its speed, the EOS 1DX Mark III offers an impressive ISO sensitivity range of ISO 100–102400 (expandable to ISO 50–819200), enabling you to work in a wide variety of lighting conditions. The speed of the EOS iTR AF X autofocus system also benefits from this, using 191 points to acquire focus quickly and accurately. It also enables Face Tracking and Head Detection AF functions, which use Deep Learning technology to maintain critical focus on moving subjects. When working in LiveView mode, Dual Pixel CMOS AF additionally uses 3,869 manually selectable points and delivers smooth, natural focusing quality comparable to the way a camcorder acquires focus.
Beyond high-performance stills, the 1DX Mark III excels at video, thanks to the ability to record internally in DCI 4K 60fps 10-bit with 4:2:2 colour, Full HD 120fps, and RAW 5.5K 60fps. Combined with complementary recording modes, this DSLR camera offers a superb video experience, including Movie Digital IS, manual focus peaking and Focus Guide, while Canon Log Gamma can also be used for improved colour grading in post. The camera supports both ALL-I and IPB compression and is compatible with H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile.
Complementing the imaging capabilities is one of the most important hallmarks of the 1D series: a durable and robust body design. This camera features a magnesium alloy construction with weather sealing to protect against dust and moisture when working in particularly demanding environments. The body also features dual CFexpress memory card slots to support the fast, continuous shooting speeds and high-resolution video capabilities. The optical pentaprism viewfinder benefits from an updated mirror drive mechanism for reduced blackout. In addition, the 3.2-inch 2.1-million-dot touchscreen LCD provides intuitive playback and menu navigation. Furthermore, built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS offer seamless wireless connectivity, while a built-in Ethernet port enables faster wired LAN file transfer. The updated E-TTL II flash metering also benefits from the improvements made to this system.

Software update:
- To enable recording at a lower bit rate, [RAW (Light)] has been added to the movie recording format and [IPB (Light)] to 4K. These can also be selected when RAW+MP4 is set
- The transfer time (estimated value) is now displayed on the camera screen during FTP transfer
- Improves communication when using FTP and USB simultaneously
